Red Clay
Red clay, known as “Rakta-mrit” in the Charak Samhita, is derived from natural soil enriched with iron oxide, and it is primarily used for its purifying and nourishing properties. It is known to balance Pitta and Kapha doshas while providing benefits like skin detoxification, enhancing circulation, and improving overall skin texture. In Ayurveda, red clay, or Rakta-mrit, is esteemed for its therapeutic properties and is utilized in various formulations for skin health.
